So who is this Colleen Booth?

I was browsing the shelves of Rite-Aid yesterday for a new facial scrub. If you notice now when you go to the pharmacy stores they separate the organic and "regular" facial products not just by shelf but by placing them across from each other in the aisles. So, after I acclamated myself to even find the organic face products thats when I noticed these brown bottles labeled "c.Booth". Hmm, what is this I pondered. I carefully studied the ingredients and then decided against trying the facial products just because of price in comparison to the size of the bottle(s) and some of the ingredients were not organic in nature. The ingredients included alcohol, which is great for a cut but not your face, and again the prices were too high...So, I decided to get the Booth Original Bath & Shower Cleanser instead. The price was $5.99 which I felt supported the products 80z size. I also like the variety of bath products that were offered which ranged from body, hair, face, and feet (Triple Action Bath, Shower & Hair Wash , Shea Butter Cream Bath , Walnut Shell Body Scrub & Cleanser , Peppermint Foot Scrub ) . I also saw Original Bath & Body Oil , which I think is a great idea and concept because this product can be used in or out of the shower for dry skin (I decided against it because I thought I might fall and hurt myself in the shower). So what I have to report is that I absolutely loved , loved, loved this new product. I used it immediately when I got home and it was great!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the Original Bath & Shower Cleanser has Sodium Laureth Sulfate as an ingredient. Both Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and its close relative Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) are commonly used in many soaps, shampoos, detergents, toothpastes and other products that we expect to "foam up". This is why I didnt buy the facial cleanser and almost didnt buy the body cleanser because I am super careful about what I put on my skin. I am happy to report I did not have a bad experience with this product, no itching and no dryness. In fact, I had quite the opposite reaction and my skin felt very moisturized after my shower. I believe this can be attributed to the B-group vitamins and Biotin which are active ingredients in this body cleanser.

The high five of the day goes to you Miss Colleen Booth for creating a high end brand line (c.booth clinically formulated skin care each product is under $20) for Rite-Aid that is low cost and good for the skin! The c.Booth prouct line includes products for women, men, and teens as well as products for the "mature" person(s). Rite-Aid is now also carrying the line c.booth Skin Below The Chin, which is for, well, your skin below the chin! You'll have to stay tuned to see if I try any of the other products....

The line includes:
derma P-17 : for problem skin
derma C-24: for everyday healthy skin maintenance and protection
derma M-36:for mature skin.
